Mindful Movement allows the space to create a deep understanding of the body, creating a physical intelligence which aids in managing stress.
My personal journey to becoming a Yoga teacher started in the birthplace of Yoga - Rishikesh India. I concentrated my studies on Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha Asanas. In addition there were also extensive classes on Yoga Philosophy, Pranayama and Anatomy at Rishikul Yogshala.
I completed a three month immersion, receiving my 500 Hour Certification. From there I studied Meditation and a deeper level of Yoga Philosophy at the Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama Ashram which gave me the skills to teach and guide meditation and Yoga Nidre.
After returning from India I settled here in Colorado and completed another 200 hour certification with Baptiste Methodology.
I am so grateful for my yoga practice as it was the pathway to my curiosity about mindfulness.
