My Story
A Place to Breathe
MY MISSION: Be of service to others, extending mindfulness education to help cultivate the skill of stress management with curiosity and compassion.
For 18 years, I lived a life filled with beaches, mountains, and foreign places, selling inspiring destinations like Hawai’i, California, Texas Hill Country, Iceland, and Patagonia. The hospitality industry was my life. Traveling a minimum of once a month in a high-paced sales & marketing environment for resorts and global travel companies.
The adventures were tremendous, as was the stress I experienced with this constant on-the-go lifestyle. I got to the point where I knew I needed to do something to manage my driven personality that told me to keep pushing at my own expense.
As always, when you push for too long, something collapses. I was anxiety-ridden, looking for a life raft to help me. Then, I found my teacher in San Diego, who started my study of Mindfulness. Her support changed how I saw anxiety and gave me the skillset to manage my stress.
Years later, I decided to take a hiatus from the industry and look within. I chose to leave my role to travel to India to deepen my understanding of yoga and meditation.
This experience allowed me to slow down. I continued to cultivate curiosity and realized how little care I was extending to myself, putting all ahead of my understanding of my self-care
Mindfulness meditation has been my anchor through family tragedies, travel, deadlines, and all the changes that occur when you are continuously moving.
I am honored to share a skill that will be of benefit to others. Mindfulness practice is my lifetime love, something that continues to evolve and bring clarity.
