Weekly Meditations
Each week I offer a 30 minute mindful practice, integrating dharma talks with 15-20 minutes of guided meditation.

Learn how to manage your stress through Mindfulness Meditation & Movement, with a lesson plan using my experience with Cognitive Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Yin Yoga, and Mindfulness Philosophy Education.

Mindful Movement
The mindful movement of yoga was initially very different from what we see today and was used to prepare the body for long seated meditations.
Asana, means “seat” according to the Bhagavad Gita which was written 5,000 years ago, and in the Sutras of Patanjali, one of yoga's eight limbs in Ashtanga Vinyasa refers to a steady and comfortable sitting posture for meditation.
It is for this reason that yoga is an ideal pairing to help still the mind in preparation for mindfulness meditation.
