My Story
A Place to Breathe
INTENTION: Be of service, extending mindfulness education to help people cultivate the skill of mindfulness with curiosity and compassion.
Lovely to see you. I’m Courtney. A little about me:
I discovered yoga 20 years ago and discovered quickly that dropping into my body through asana was a tremendous support to my physicial and mental well being. Five years later, after navigating significant stress and anxiety, I found mindfulness, which changed the way I faced difficulties through connection to the body and mindscape.
A forever student and now teacher of mindfulness, I have blended my experiences and certifications to create The Mindful Way, a holistic approach that integrates meditation, Buddhist philosphy, breathwork and yoga to help students navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and awareness.
Certifications Include:
700 Hours of Yoga Teaching Certifications:
Ashtanga Vinyasa, Rishikesh India
Hatha Yoga, Rishikesh, India
Baptiste Methodology, Boulder, CO
Yin Yoga, Boulder, CO
UCSD Center for Mindfulness: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Nordic Flow Breath Coach: Level 1 & 2
Non-Violent Communication, Jay Sopher
Mindfulness meditation has been my anchor through family tragedies, life transitions, and work stresses, helping me to see these moments as passing clouds in the wide open sky of life.
I am honored to share a skill that will be of benefit to others. Mindfulness practice is my lifetime love, something that continues to evolve and bring clarity.
